As a part of Math club activity for the year 2023-24 a Lecture – demonstration session was conducted on August 7^th for class VI by Ms. N. Vijayalakshmi and Ms. Shanthi Priya, Math teachers of our school. Easy and quick mental multiplication techniques were introduced. Students’ Joy of multiplication was aroused and they answered the questions with enthusiasm.

Our Indian traditional games were played not only for fun, but also involves a lot of thinking, strategy and math in it. So, some of our Indian Traditional Games were introduced. Students had a hands-on experience and they enjoyed playing traditional games.

This develops interest in Math, by making calculation easier. It also creates an awareness about our traditional games and the math involved. This is aimed at creating an interest in such games, as well as a kick start for the students to prepare for the Math Expo in second term.
