The students of Std VII were taken on an educational trip, on February 7 2024, to the Dinamalar Press at Oragadam, to throw light on how the print media works. This trip was planned as a part of PhBL (Phenomenon Based Learning) activity, held during the months of January and February.

Mr. Narayanan, MD of Dinamalar and other higher officials of Dinamalar Press, welcomed the teachers and the students and gave the students insights into different departments of the Press, viz, Ink and Water Section, Printing Section, Despatch Section and Refreshment.

The students thoroughly observed and were curious to know about, how the ink of different colours were prepared, the compressor and RO water unit and the machineries involved in printing and despatching. The organizers were thrilled by the enthusiasm shown by the children and patiently answered their queries.
