As a part of the Phenomenon based learning, the students of Std V, embarked on a journey to a water plant in February, 2024. The students eagerly explored the intricate process of water purification and packaging. In the purification zone, students witnessed the meticulous journey of water through tunnels, each stage stripping impurities and ensuring safety. Workers explained the significance of each step, captivating the students with the complexity of the process. Transitioning to the bottle manufacturing section, students marvelled at the transformation of plastic tubes into familiar vessels. The precision and skill required left them in awe of the craftsmanship involved. Their exploration continued to the bustling area where water cans were cleaned and filled. Observing both manual and mechanical efforts, students gained insight into the rigorous standards upheld to guarantee purity. As the day concluded, students departed with a newfound appreciation for the diligence behind every small water bottle and can. They understood the importance of clean water and its role in sustaining life. The field trip proved enriching, sparking curiosity and environmental awareness among students.
‘Lake on Wheels’ was also organised in the school to sensitize the students about the importance of lakes as a part of PhBL activity.
