Recognizing the need for an alternative academic framework within a mainstream inclusive setting, we have established the Sri Sankara NIOS that aligns with NIOS philosophy of personalized and inclusive education.
The Sri Sankara NIOS aims to create an inclusive learning environment for students who face challenges in conventional academic systems.
Our objectives are:
Providing a flexible and supportive educational platform that empowers students with diverse learning needs — including those with exceptional abilities in sports and arts, as well as those facing learning challenges, health conditions, or personal constraints — to achieve academic success on their own terms.
Offering a self-paced curriculum with on-demand examinations, allowing students to progress according to their capabilities.
Integrating vocational and life skill programs to enhance students' employability and practical knowledge.
Helping students who have dropped out or struggled in mainstream education to successfully continue their learning journey.
