SANMUN 2022 was hosted on 14th and 15th October 2022. Around 210 students participated from 26 city schools. Mr Shivkumar Eashwaran, Honorary Consul General to South India of the Republic of Armenia was the Chief Guest.

There were 6 committees that included Historical Security Council, United Nations Human Rights Council, United Nations Office for Outer Space Affairs, United Nations Council of Invasions, Economic and Social Committee and International Press Corps. Students actively participated in discussions and deliberations over different agenda covering issues on Xenophobia, Space mining, global supply chain crisis, de-dollarization of international trade, etc. Chettinad Vidyashram won the Best School award and Vidya Mandir, Mylapore was declared Runner Up.
