As a part of the Math Club Activity for class X, Mr. Venkatesh Balaji introduced GeoGebra as a tool to explore mathematical concepts. Students were able to visualize proof of geometrical theorems. The dynamic part of the application gave an awe to the students. He encouraged the students to explore it as a game. As a follow up activity, the students were then given a task to replicate geometrical designs from historical monuments using Geo Gebra.

Students of class IX had an insight into the various mathematicians in the vedic era and their contributions. Dr. Rama also explained  about the “katapayadi sankhya” and how it was used by the mathematicians on the form of shloka to indicate a number. The students answered a written quiz based on the lecture
