The Interactors of the school participated in the 75th Independence Day celebrations of India, on the 15th of August, 2022. The event commenced with the hoisting of the Indian Tri-color by the Vice Principal, Mrs Vidyalakashmi. This was followed by the school music team presenting the Flag Song and other patriotic renditions, after which speeches were given in 4 languages – English, Tamil, Hindi and Sanskrit. The speakers commemorated the brave Indian freedom fighters and spoke about upholding their values and vision of a truly free India. More importantly, they emphasised on the pertinence of the youth of our country in working towards this goal. These speeches were delivered with heartfelt emotion and utmost patriotism toward the nation which instilled in the interactors a great sense of pride for their Motherland.
