The Economics Management and Finance Club of Sri Sankara Senior Secondary School hosted the Playnomics workshop that was conducted by the Indian School of Business and Finance (ISBF) on the 20th of July, 2022. The workshop was aimed at training the students in Stock Market trading and was attended by the Commerce and Humanities students of class 12.

The workshop was for 1.5 hours during which Mr. Siddharth Swaroop from the ISBF gave an insight about Stock Market trading and conducted a game, ‘Bulls and Bears’ which facilitated the students to trade in an online Stock Market without real money. Students were divided into 6 teams and each team was allowed to trade, given a restriction of 12 transactions and half an hour of time. The team which gained the maximum profit was announced as the winner. The intricate details of the game were close enough to the real stock market, providing the students with an opportunity to understand the working of the same.
