Bio/Biotech club of Sri Sankara organised a virtual career counselling programme for students of class IX and XI by Jaypee University, Shimla on 08.03.2022.  The resource person Dr. Udaybanu, Associate Professor- Department of Biotechnology, enlightened the students with various career opportunities in the field of Biological Sciences – Biotechnology, Genetic Engineering, Pharmaceuticals, Vaccine development, Bioinformatics, to name a few.  He also gave an insight of how bioinformatics is integrated with other science streams.  The students were thrilled to know about the Jaypee University’s student exchange programme with Nebraska University, Omaha state.  He reinforced the importance of Research and Development in India which is the dire need of the hour.
