The Interact Club celebrated ‘Tamil Nadu Day’ in the month of November 21. The chief guests were Rtn PP Sivabala Rajendran, Chairperson Green World RID 3232, Rtn PP Senthil Nathan, RC, Adyar and Mr Hafiz Khan, Forest Creator, Climate Healer and a Social Impact Leader. The session aimed at recognising the significance of ‘Tamil Nadu Day’ and the ‘Palm Tree’, which is Tamil Nadu’s State Tree. As a part of the celebration, Palm tree seeds were distributed to the students of Std IX and Std XI. Mr Hafiz Khan inaugurated the ESG Club (Environment Society Governance Club) and also gave insight into the functioning of the club.
