On the account of the International Day of the Girl Child, on 11th October 2020, the Interact Club of the school organised various programmes for the students of Std IX to Std XII. The club encouraged students to make posters and write essay on the themes ‘Empowering Girls for a Brighter Tomorrow’ and Girl Force: Unscripted and Unstoppable. The club also organised a speech session for the Std XI students. The speakers were Dr Jothi Clara. J. Michael, Director of Nursing, Gleneagles Global Group, Ms Sunitha Daisun Regional Manager – Tamil Nadu and Kerala Global Art, India and Assistant Vice President- Finance & FAO Delivery (Hexaware BPS). The speakers shared their life stories and voiced out that acceptance is the key of life in order to achieve great chances. The students of Std XI also performed a play on the story that is based on Rashsundari Debi, the author of Amar Jiban, the first ever autobiography written by an Indian Woman.
