Ms. Shanthijeyan and Ms. Banani Dhar attended one day workshop on Teaching History and Heritage at Dakshin Chithra, ECR, Chennai on 18th October 2019. The purpose of the workshop was “Teaching strategies and bring history to life”. Dr. Chithra Madhavan gave a lecture and demo on Why our students need history & how can we make it relevant There was a Panel discussion with experts and “How can we use objects and artifacts to teach history “. The workshop was conducted by Dakshin Chithra and Tree foundation.
