Apollo shine conducted the annual health screening camp for all students of the Sri Sankara Senior Secondary School, Adyar, between 24th and 26th July 2023. The screening included checking the height, weight, blood pressure, vision, dental and the general body checkup of students. Students were assessed in the presence of the teachers. As shared by the doctors, Apollo Shine focuses mainly on ‘Prevention Better Than Cure’. Their main aim is progressive and nutritional development of students. So, the annual screening helps the doctors track the development of the students in their growing years. Menstrual problems were also dealt in detail by the expert doctors, as they believe that awareness brings change. To track the development of their wards, parents were given access to the digitalized ‘Health Track’ in the app called ‘Shine Parivar’. The Screening was successfully completed for all the students in the allotted days and it was an initiative from the school as health should be prioritized for a holistic development.
