Class VI – Educational Trip

On 22nd August 2025, the students of Class VI went on an exciting educational trip to Arignar Anna Zoological Park, Vandalur, one of the largest zoological parks in India. The visit aimed to create awareness about wildlife and conservation while giving students a chance to observe animals closely. They explored the Big Cats Section with the majestic Bengal tigers, the Elephant Enclosure where elephants played and bathed and enclosures of lively monkeys such as squirrel monkeys, lion-tailed macaques, and tufted capuchins. The Nocturnal Animal House and Reptile House, featuring snakes, crocodiles and turtles, fascinated the students with their unique displays. The Bird Aviary, filled with parrots, peacocks, macaws and flamingos and the Butterfly Garden added colour and beauty to the visit, while bears, rhinos and giraffes further enriched the experience. The trip was both fun and informative, teaching students about animal habitats, endangered species and the role of zoos in conservation. It was a memorable outing that combined learning with adventure, sparking curiosity and respect for nature among the Class VI students.
