An event on the dangers of drug abuse took place in the school auditorium on the 28th of June, 2018. The Chief Guest of this event was Mr. Ramachandra Sundaralingam, one of the oldest Interpol officers. This was followed by Mr. Sundaralingam’s gave an informative speech on the dangers of drug abuse and its prevention. The speech included an extensive collection of information on the topics of harmful effects of drug addiction and the problem of increasing drug smuggling and addiction among the youth. He also talked about the preventive measures and the dangers faced by today’s youth. The students found his case studies very informative and interesting.
