WWF India Chennai chapter in association with Eco Club Chennai and NGC Chennai conducted one day teacher principal students conference “Environment Education new approach to Sustainable Future” on 12th February 2019 at Kumararani Meena Muthaiah Arts and Science College at Adyar from 9.00 am to 2.00 pm. One Planet Academy, an online portal for learning about nature and it’s conservation was launched.

Our teachers V Sunanda Irene and D P Nandhini along with students of class VIII, Ashwin JR, R. Revanth Sudhan, K B Soumyaa sree and R B Shreenithi participated in this conference.

Mrs. V Sunanda Irene and Ashwin JR (student) gave speech on ways to reduce single use plastics usage in various roles an individual, as a school, as a teacher and as a student.

Our students won first and second prize in skit competition.
