DG Vaishnav College organized the Geeta Celebration Fancy Dress Competition, on January 27, 2024. The event showcased the talents of our students, bringing honour and recognition to our school.

In the fancy dress competition, Sruthy PV of Std V, emerged as a shining star, securing the first prize. Her portrayal of Vishnu in the Vishvaroopadarshanam was not only captivating but also earned her admiration for her artistic representation. Sruthy’s performance was truly amazing, as she skilfully chanted selected verses from the Bhagavad Geeta, adding depth to her portrayal. As a testament to her excellence, she was also presented with a cash prize of Rs. 2000.

In the Geeta chanting category for students across Std IV to VIII, Shivani of Std IV, received a special prize for her exceptional rendition of chapter 2 of the Bhagavad Geeta, known as Sankhya Yoga. Her dedication and proficiency in reciting the sacred verses were recognized, adding to the pride of our school.
