Independence Day Celebrations 2026

The school commemorated Independence Day on 15 August 2026 with profound patriotic fervor. The occasion commenced with the solemn flag hoisting ceremony by the Principal, Ms. Vidyalakshmi S, alongside patriotic renditions by the school music team, an impressive march past by the NCC cadets, a Welcome Address and an address by the Principal, emphasizing the day’s significance. The proceedings featured diverse cultural presentations, including tributes to national leaders by Kindergarten students, mock interviews with freedom fighters and a multilingual choir by Primary students, a National Integration Dance by Class XI and a traditional Villu Pattu performance by Class X celebrating the sacrifices of women freedom fighters. Reinforcing environmental consciousness, students presented eco-friendly biodegradable flags embedded with brinjal seeds to school dignitaries and parents, while faculty members expressed their allegiance through multilingual displays. The commemoration concluded with a formal vote of thanks, leaving the gathering with an elevated sense of national pride.
