There is nothing fresher to the eyes than a spread of natural green.

Our campus is surrounded by and filled with greenery. The school is designed with green norms that conform to waste segregation, water conservation and the economisation of electricity.

The school building comprises three blocks with three floors, and is designed to ensure safety and comfort at all points. Our innovative ‘modular design structure’ assists in configuring classrooms and laboratories to suit future educational requirements. Within this futuristic construction lies state-of-the-art amenities. A badam tree and neem tree stand proud and erect in the ground having witnessed generations of students under their shelter. We welcome parents to make enquiries at our front desk.

The school is gated and surrounded by compound walls with watchmen and CCTV cameras guarding all entry and exit points to ensure the security of all children.

Laboratories

The Biology Lab at Sankara provides a dynamic learning environment where students explore the wonders of life sciences through hands-on experiments and observations. Equipped with quality tools, specimens, and models, the lab fosters scientific inquiry and nurtures curiosity, enabling students to connect theoretical knowledge with real-world biological phenomena.

Computer labs
Today’s children are pixel prodigies. To nurture their digital skills, we have Primary, Junior and Senior computer labs. All systems run on the latest software versions. The labs are WiFi enabled and also have projector and printers.
Biotech lab
The importance of Biotechnology cannot be denied in the post-COVID world. Sankara's Biotech lab is one of the best laboratories among the city schools with state-of-art infrastructure and latest equipment as per CBSE regulations.
Physics lab
Our Physics lab is well designed and has all the safety features incorporated. The training given here is used to sharpen the skills necessary for more advanced study and research.
Chemistry lab
Chemistry is the integral part of both physical sciences and biological sciences. Equipped with all the requirements of the secondary and senior secondary syllabi, our laboratory enables a varitey of experiments for students to try their hands on and form a deeper understanding of their classroom experience.

Playground

All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy
An expansive playground lies in the middle of the school and has a basketball court, which meets international standards. A badam tree and neem tree stand proud and erect in the ground having witnessed generations of students under their shelter. There are courts for volleyball, throwball, etc. and care is taken to keep the playground hazard-free.

Digital Classrooms

No more chalk dust
Our classrooms have been equipped with Interactive Flat Panels, enabling students to have access to learning material in line with the latest technology trends such as animation, 3D videos, gamification, etc. Extramarks app is leveraged for the above needs. Teachers have created a cloud-based central repository of the digital learning content and students can access the same anytime, anywhere. Virtual Reality labs offer interactive and experiential learning to ensure students are more engaged.

Libraries

Books are the storehouse of knowledge
Library is well ventilated and students can access the books in digital and physical formats. It has a stock of around 11,000 books. We have Junior and Senior libraries covering ages 5 - 10 and 11 - 17 respectively.

Proper sanitation for healthy school life
Our entire school campus maintains a hygienic atmosphere and is sanitised on a regular basis using nano technology. Our school has clean, age-appropriate toilets for both boys and girls, access to clean water, and handwashing facilities. We follow a regular cleaning regime.

Apollo Shine Room

Ever ready medical help
Our school clinic provides expert medical care and support through first aid or emergency care to sick or injured students, assessing students and detecting early signs and symptoms of any health issues. A qualified nurse from Apollo hospitals is stationed in the school to attend to these children. Ambulance and doctors are available on call.

Auditorium

Our auditorium serves as a multipurpose hall and has an aesthetic appeal. It is equipped with the latest sound system and lighting is adequate. It also has a projector and is used exhaustively for programs and meetings.

A teachers' lounge was inaugurated where teachers can relax, away from all the blackboards and chalk dust. We concentrate on the well-being of everyone and we are glad to have a peaceful and calm environment for our teachers who work hard inside and outside the school for the students to excel in their lives!
