Inter-School Oratorical Competition

The Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Memorial Trust, in collaboration with Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Chennai Kendra, conducted the Inter-School Oratorical Competition in October to commemorate the 150th Birth Anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. Nine students from our school excelled in the competition, securing prizes across various language categories. The awards were presented by Dr. N. Ravi, Hon’ble Governor of Tamil Nadu, during the valedictory ceremony held on 31st October. In English, Deepikaa Suresh of Class XI won the First Prize and Shriya Kulkarni of Class XI B secured the Third Prize. In Hindi, Shriya Kulkarni of Class XI B received the Third Prize and Sutapa Chanda Roy of Class IX C earned a Consolation Prize. In Gujarati, Neil Desai of Class XI C won the Third Prize. In Telugu, Lakshmi Srainya of Class X A won the First Prize, Advaith Mandhata of Class IX C secured the Second Prize and Eswari Aradhya of Class VIII B received the Third Prize. In Tamil, Sivarishya Vijay of Class XI B was awarded the First Prize. The competition served as a platform to celebrate linguistic diversity, eloquence, and the oratorical excellence of students.
