The Installation Ceremony for the Interact Club 2024-25 of the school was a significant dual-event celebration. The ceremony took place both at UNIFY, organized by the Rotary Club of Madras and within the school premises, organized by the outgoing Interact Club of 2023-24.

UNIFY was an innovative initiative introduced by the Rotary Club of Madras last year, aimed at bringing together all 28 Interact Clubs throughout Chennai. The UNIFY event for this year was held on July 26, 2024. The event saw the presence of several esteemed guests from the Rotary Club of Madras, including President Rtn. Chella Krishna, Honorary Secretary Rtn. Rajesh Mani, Chairman of Interact Zone 1 Rtn. Vinay Mohan, Youth Services Director Rtn. Balaji Chinni, Chairman of Interact Zone 2 Rtn. Shivakumar Vellur, Chairman of Special Projects Rtn. Ashwath Kumar Reddy, and Chairman of Interact Zone 3 Rtn. PP Jayashree Sridhar.

The Rotarians seized the opportunity to showcase the Rotary Club of Madras’s previous initiatives and unveil a series of exciting new projects for the year. Among these highlights were Streetscape by the Little Lords and the Rotary Youth Exchange Programme in Malaysia, set for November 2024.

The ceremony also included the collaring of Anagha Tadepalli as the President of the Interact Club of Sri Sankara Senior Secondary School, Adyar, by Rtn. Vinay Mohan. Additionally, the new Presidents of the various Interact Clubs addressed the gathering, delivering compelling speeches and sharing their plans for the upcoming year.

The ceremony left all attendees with happy smiles and hopeful hearts, marking a successful transition into the new Interact year.
