The Rotary Club of Madras organized a speaker Session for the President and Secretary of the Interact Clubs and Rotaract Clubs in August, 2022. The speaker was Poet Dr. Thamizhachi Thangapandian, Member of Parliament, Lok Sabha. She was felicitated with the Shakthi Award, by Rtn. Jayshree Sridhar, President, RCM. Her speech painted a vivid picture of various values including self-respect, patriotism to our homelands, reconnecting with nature and staying true to our values, via her own poems and personal anecdotes.
