The 23rd of August is observed as National Space Day. To mark this occasion, the Interact Club, in collaboration with the Science Department of the school, organised a vibrant set of competitions on 25th August for students of Standards VI to XII. The events included poetry writing, quiz, painting, video-making and collage-making on themes such as India’s space journey, Indian space achievements, If I were an astronaut…, Chandrayaan – India’s Footprint on the Moon, and other exciting topics. Students participated with great enthusiasm, showcasing creativity in every category.
Imaginative paintings, thoughtful poems, innovative collages and creative videos reflected the students’ curiosity and pride in the country’s scientific progress. The quiz tested their knowledge while fostering a healthy competitive spirit. The celebration was both inspiring and educational, as it encouraged students to dream beyond the skies while deepening their appreciation for India’s remarkable role in space exploration.
