Psychology Internship

Five Grade 12 Psychology students completed a transformative 15-day summer internship at TTK Hospital for Rehabilitation and De-addiction, Adyar, from April 29 to May 16, 2026.
Throughout the program, students observed group therapy and family counseling sessions, engaged in experiential mindfulness activities to foster self-awareness, and participated in a restorative retreat program. By bridging classroom theory with real-world application, counsellors provided practical insights into key psychological concepts like classical conditioning and aversion therapy. The hands-on experience offered invaluable competency building, helping students deepen their understanding of clinical psychology and compassionate care.
