The 13th edition of the Sankara Student Leadership Summit (SSLS) commenced with a warm welcome by the alumni association, followed by a soulful invocation by esteemed alumna, Mrs. Padma Murali. The summit was inaugurated with a keynote address by Mr. A.K. Parameswaran, a distinguished alumnus, who shared his insights on envisioning and shaping India’s future by 2047. Throughout the day, participants were engaged by a series of thought-provoking sessions. Mr. Pravin Shekar, known for his unconventional marketing strategies, inspired the audience with his creative approach to entrepreneurship. Mr. Praveen Pakala followed, sharing his journey of merging the ancient wisdom of the Ramayana with modern leadership principles, particularly focusing on mentoring young minds.
The day’s events continued with an interactive session by Mr. D. Balaji, an entrepreneur and quiz enthusiast, who captivated the audience with his deep knowledge of Indian history and culture. This was followed by an inspiring talk from Vibha Krishnakumar, an award-winning writer and Carnatic vocalist, who shared her experiences in both literature and music. The summit then moved into an engaging debate session, fostering the exchange of ideas among participants. The final highlight was a ‘T20’ session with Mr. T.M. Karthik, a former software professional turned theatre and film actor, who also discussed his commitment to social causes. The event concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks by Ms. Padma Murali and a collective recital of the national anthem, leaving attendees inspired to contribute to India’s future.
