Our school celebrated ‘Sanskrit day ’ on 12th august 2022. The program commenced with Vedic chanting by students followed by Welcome address.
The following were the highlights of the event:-
‘Ashcharya chudamani’ – A Sanskrit drama written by Shaktibhadra the contemporary of Great Adi Sankara.
Story-telling, Sanskrit Recitation, Modern Sanskrit poem titled ‘Mahatmaji’ written by Shri Krishna Sharma and Harikatha titled Ramanujacharitam.
Classical dance – Sri vignarajam bhaje and Group dance
Speech on the topic-“Why we learn Sanskrit”. The cultural background of Sanskrit and its necessity in today’s world was highlighted in the speec
