The Annual Day of Sri Sankara Senior Secondary School was celebrated on 18th July, 2025 at The Music Academy, MAJ GEN RM SRINIVAS, Chief of staff HQ Dakshin Bharat area, was the chief guest.
The evening began with a prayer song rendered by Gowri Chandrasekar, a student of Std XII. The Principal, Smt Vidyalakshmi S, delivered the welcome address. Mr. Pravin Shekar Batch 1992 shared his experience as a student at Sankara. The Managing Trustee, Shri N Kumar, graced the occasion with his presence. The Principal, Smt. Vidyalakshmi S, presented the Annual Report highlighting the activities and achievements during the last year.
The Chief Guest, MAJ GEN RM SRINIVAS, then addressed the gathering. He appreciated the students for their achievements in various fields and commended the school for providing opportunities for them to do so. He then distributed prizes to the meritorious students for their performances in the Std X and XII board examinations. This was followed by a colourful cultural programme consisting of classical and contemporary music performance, plays in English and classical, semiclassical, western and contemporary dance performances.
The school has completed over 55 years in the service of education.
