YACD (Youth Association For Cultural Development) Trust, Gopalpuram and Vazhakarignar Uzhavara Kuzhu in association with Sri Ramakrishna Mission and Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, inaugurated the project ‘Thalamum and Thavamum’, in the presence of Swami Gautamananda Ji Maharaj, Vice President, Sri Ramakrishna Mission, Hon’ble Mr. Justice, Madras High Court and other dignitaries, in August. Nearly 20 students, from the Interact Club and the Heritage club of our school, participated in the temple cleaning activity. Students were oriented with the need to keep the temples clean and the ways to create awareness. The Heritage club students cleaned Sri Varasithi Vinayagar Temple, and the Interact Club students cleaned the Arulmigu Arupadai Murugan Temple, in Besant Nagar.
