The Interact Club of Sri Sankara Senior Secondary School made broom sticks out of coconut leaves on 1^st August 2023, which is one of the predominant contributions of the Tribal Community in everyday lives. Few office bearers assembled near the chemistry lab of the school during the lunch break with coconut leaves and under the guidance and supervision of their faculty coordinators, the office bearers successfully completed making the broom sticks. The procedure mainly included peeling off the midrib of the coconut leaf and uniformly giving the leaves a shape. Once this was done, all the sticks were collected in a bundle and tied together, giving a spectacular view of the broom stick at the end. It was a great learning experience as the office bearers learnt how integral the Tribal Community is in common walks of life.
